- And More...
One of the most unique features of my van build is my hidden shower. When closed it just looks like a normal closet, but when you open it up you reveal a full wet bath with a shower and toilet, and storage that automatically folds out! The way it works is I made 2 normal closet doors and then attached all storage right to the back of the doors so that when you open it, all storage comes out with the door so you don't need to move things in and out of the shower.
The reason I did this is because I wanted to have an indoor shower in the van so I can wash off after mountain biking or skiing, but I didn't want to lose all of that precious space that an indoor shower requires. With this design I'm able to have easy storage in the shower that I don't need to take out when I want to use the shower, and I can also have a hanging wardrobe, fully body mirror, hamper, and pantry!
